Jubenal Romero joined Houston’s in 2007 and celebrated his 15-year anniversary with the company this year. He has also earned recognition as the Wilsonville Warehouse Employee of the Month for December for displaying versatility, dedication, and a team-first mentality.

In addition to his duties pulling orders, Jubenal shows his varied skillset by keeping a keen eye out for misplaced product throughout the warehouse. Jubenal’s efforts ensure a higher degree of accuracy and increased efficiency for his teammates in the warehouse.

“He is continuously bringing errors to our attention,” said Angie Buffetta, Cash & Carry Supervisor. “Jubenal takes pride in his job, and it shows.”

Jubenal also goes above and beyond, helping with coverage in the Receiving Department when needed, and is often called upon to train others. With his 15 years of experience and commitment to quality, Jubenal has earned the trust of his coworkers.

“Jubenal has shown much growth from the time he started,” Angie said. “The amount of knowledge he has learned in his 15 years makes him a unique addition to Houston’s.”

Houston’s Core Values can be seen through the way Jubenal conducts his work. His sense of honesty and integrity are on display in catching errors and misplaced product. Jubenal takes initiative to report and correct the errors, so that they don’t have a greater negative impact further down the road.

Outside of work, Jubenal enjoys working on projects around the house, and watching soccer and baseball. Congratulations Jubenal, this recognition is well deserved!
