Cesar Correa, Inventory Control, joined Houston’s in November of the year 2000. This month he is marking 22 years of being part of the Houston’s Team.

Cesar has also been recognized as Wilsonville Warehouse Employee of the Month for November.

A Five-Star employee on the SPARQ wall for the month, Cesar has demonstrated his versatility and dedication by going above and beyond.

Though his main duties involve Inventory Control, through the past months Cesar has come in early to help the receiving crew before moving on to his full slate of inventory responsibilities.

In addition, he has filled in for some receiving supervisor coverage when needed, tracked our CHEF’STORE equipment inventory, and conducted an inventory audit with an auditor from the bank.

“The bank auditor determined that our inventory was ‘nearly perfect,’” said Greg Jones, Warehouse Supervisor.

It’s clear that even with taking on extra responsibilities, Cesar’s pursuit of quality has not diminished.

Cesar embodies Houston’s Core Values, notably in terms of “Be the Change.”

“Cesar has worn many hats in his 22 years at Houston’s, and regardless of the change in his duties, his effort and commitment to each different task has been admirable,” Greg said.

As with many of our other long-tenured team members, Cesar has transitioned from paper-based operations to the implementation of more advanced technology and automation used today. He has shown a willingness to grow and adapt along with the evolutions of our business and operations.

Outside of work, Cesar enjoys jogging, working out, and playing basketball. He also likes playing video games when not taking part in his more active hobbies.

Congratulations on this recognition Cesar; we celebrate your contributions this month, as well as for 22 great years, and many more to come!
