Cassie Owens, HR Generalist, joined Houston’s in May 2022. Over her first few months, she has already established herself as a dedicated, hardworking, and trustworthy addition to the HR Team. For these qualities and more she has earned recognition as Wilsonville Office Employee of the Quarter for Q4.
During the selection and nomination process for the quarterly recognition, several of Houston’s Department Head Team members noted how Cassie’s trustworthy and sincere nature are valued traits. In alignment with the goals of the HR Team, she upholds respect and integrity in keeping private employee information confidential to the highest standard.
“Cassie was nominated by several managers,” Human Resources Manager Ossiris Pfeifer said. “Knowing that I am not the only one that can see how amazing of an employee and a person she is, fills me with pride.”
Through the past quarter, Cassie has also shown adaptability amid changes within the HR Team, with a shift in personnel and welcoming a new member to the team. Even with these changes, several nominators noted that Cassie remains very responsive and consistently demonstrates good follow-through.
As one nominator experienced, “Cassie has provided quick responses with the most recent and up to date policy guidelines, keeping in contact with individuals and relaying information.”
“I like how clear she is in giving direction and next steps,” another nominator said. “She has a very friendly vibe to her and comes off as personally motivated.”
In addition to her diligence with her work tasks, Cassie is also known to have a positive presence around the office.
“Cassie’s high energy, bubbly personality, and follow-through are inspiring,” one nominator offered.
In fact, the term “bubbly” was brought up by several different nominators. It’s something Cassie’s manager Ossiris notices on a daily basis.
“She stands out as an extremely nice and passionate person,” Ossiris said. “She is open, warm, friendly, and compassionate. She is such a fun person to work with, even in the most stressful times she is smiling, and it is contagious.”
