Alex Villarreal is a hardworking, experienced, and dependable member of Houston’s Wilsonville Warehouse Team. For these attributes and more, she has earned recognition as Wilsonville Warehouse Employee of the Month for September.

Having started with Houston’s in August of the year 2000, Alex has been making a positive impact within Houston’s operations for 22 years.

A Five-Star employee on the SPARQ wall for the month, Alex is a versatile member of the team.

“Alex will jump in and help anyone at any time no matter what she is doing,” said Brenda Hart, Receiving Supervisor. “She has been helping train new hires on swing shift and will come in a little earlier on days to help in receiving or to get the trucks unloaded.”

Using her experience to her advantage, Alex is also able to help step in a pull orders when needed, as well.

Alex’s supervisors describe her as an ambassador of Houston’s Core Values, especially as new hires are brought on. In addition to creating connections by assisting with new hire training, Alex builds relationships by reach out to new people to make sure they feel welcomed here at Houston’s.

“With the years of experience and knowledge of the company and products, Alex has a lot of valuable insight to share,” Brenda said.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with her family. She has three grown children and two grandchildren, and loves every chance for a visit.
