Joining Houston’s in December of 2021, Anthony Norwood has already demonstrated a growth-oriented mindset and dedication to the team. For these qualities and others, he has earned recognition as KC Warehouse Employee of the Quarter for Quarter 2.
In the eyes of his supervisors, Anthony has several major accomplishments this past quarter. He has reduced errors down to a minimal number and has learned how to operate the reach truck.
He has also been at the top of the list for the SPARQ categories of safety, productivity, attendance, and quality.
Before starting with Houston’s, Anthony had never driven a pallet jack or reach truck, and during the past three months has now become well-versed on both types of equipment.
“He’s excelling at both,” said Tony Sutton, Warehouse Supervisor. “Ant also cleaned up his errors and is always on top of productivity in the KC Warehouse.”
It’s clear that Anthony has a passion for learning new things, and he’s been described as one to constantly stay busy. These attributes certainly contribute to his growth here at Houston’s, in a relatively short amount of time.
Supervisors have observed that through the development, he maintains a sense of responsibility and integrity to the task at hand and doing things right.
Outside of work, Anthony enjoys working out and making music.
The runners up in KC are Jacob Cruz (first runner up) and Sadie Anderson (second runner up).
Congratulations, this recognition is well earned!
