Versatile, productive, and hardworking, Jesus Ayala is a valued member on Swing Shift and within the Houston’s team as a whole. He has earned recognition as Wilsonville Employee of the Month for February.
Jesus is currently the only full-time forklift operator on Swing Shift. In the words of one manager, he has really stepped up to provide excellent service to the team of order pullers. Where there would normally be two full-time forklift operators, Jesus is instrumental in filling that current void.
Operating the forklift is not his only skill, however. Jesus also shows versatility in pulling orders, loading trucks, receiving, and any other task that is asked of him – and he excels no matter the job.
Over the past month, Jesus has averaged 8.59 locations stocked per hour, which ranked No. 1 in Wilsonville, and second overall for Houston’s as a whole. When called upon to pull orders, Jesus averaged 200 units picked per hour, which also ranked No. 1 in Wilsonville.
Jesus has a positive attitude and demonstrates a strong willingness to help wherever needed and takes responsibility to do a good job.
“He always waits for the last person out to lock up, so we have two people here when we’re closing up for the night,” said Greg Jones, Warehouse Manager. “Jesus has really become an integral part of a strong team.”
Outside of work, Jesus likes to work on cars, go fishing, and spend time with family.
