Parisa Elahian is an Accounts Payable Specialist here at Houston’s, and she has become a vital member of the team in her short time here. She is committed, passionate, thoughtful, reliable, and very thorough. Embodying these qualities and more is what has earned Parisa the recognition as Employee of the Quarter for Quarter 3, 2021.

Parisa started working at Houston’s in July of 2020, and many within the company have glowing things to say.

One manager noted how Parisa’s sense of responsibility has made her a valuable asset. “She takes her job very seriously and works very hard to be as proactive about things as possible.”

Speaking to her qualities of integrity and reliability, Parisa has been described as one to always do the right thing all of the time.

She has been a leader as Houston’s transitions to a new accounting system and, as a manager noticed, has really helped to solidify the reliability of the department as a whole. “We are all so very thankful for her to be on our team. Though she is incredibly humble, without a doubt Parisa has elevated the department to another level.”

Another example of Parisa’s thoughtfulness and thoroughness was offered by one of her nominators.

“Besides Parisa’s cheery and smiley attitude she is often prompt and eager. Parisa is usually one step ahead with invoice preparation which can make all the difference.”

Outside of work, family is very important to Parisa. She is very close with her parents and sister, who live locally – even spending the weekends with them. She has another sister who lives in Alaska and a brother in California.

Colleagues have noted that as she has gotten more comfortable, Parisa has opened up more and more about herself. She has shared her great sense of humor and has been described as having a “fun sassy style that is energizing to be around.”
