With a versatile skill set and a willing attitude, Cameron Buddrius has earned recognition as the Wilsonville Warehouse Employee of the Month for June.

A Five-Star Employee on the SPARQ wall, Cameron had a highly productive month, pulling an average of 216 units per hour, which was the top mark throughout both warehouses.

While Cameron’s primary responsibilities include training and keeping up with hazmat regulations, he also does a wide variety of other tasks on demand.  During May, Cameron’s versatility helped navigate a number of unique operational situations.

Greg Jones, Warehouse Manager, summed it up: “Houston’s had a high demand for freight shipments, had people on vacation in the FedEx Department, and also made a number of changes to our freight shipping routine,” he said.

“Cameron stepped in and helped put out a large volume of freight orders including standard freight shipments and hub-drop shipments,” Greg added.

In addition, Cameron is frequently called upon to step in and pull orders when needed. Even though he does this only part time, he will consistently be at or near the top of the picking productivity chart, as confirmed by his top numbers this past month.

Flexibility is described as Cameron’s most valuable asset. “He can do freight shipments, order pulling, forklift operating, returns, samples, and inventory control,” Greg said.

His work in many departments has contributed to his ability to seamlessly adapt to changes that have been implemented. His experience has also led to offering and promoting ideas to drive changes.

“Be the Change is one of our Core Values that Cameron represents well,” Greg added.

Outside of work, Cameron enjoys working on vehicles and studying history.
