Monin® Dulce de Leche Frappe

Enjoy a Monin Dulche de Leche Frappe on National Frappe Day! Photo courtesy of Monin.

½ oz Monin® Dulce de Leche sauce
1 oz Monin® Iced Coffee Concentrate
2 oz vanilla frappe powder
3 oz milk
16 oz ice
Combine ingredients, except ice, in blender
Add ice
Blend until smooth
Pour into serving glass and garnish as desired.

Tax Day – Inevitable & Unavoidable

Tax Day. It’s inevitable. Unavoidable. It lingers in the back of your mind and, if you are anything like me, you let it simmer there as long as possible before facing it. The pile of forms and the even-bigger pile of tax laws—some apply to you and some don’t, and just figuring that part out becomes a giant weight on your shoulders. Taxes loom over me until I finally just take a deep breath and get it over with. Because let’s face it, Tax Day is stressful whether you owe money, break even, or expect a refund.

Now that your taxes are completed (or, at least, should be completed), let’s take a minute to toast this day of obligation with an Income Tax Cocktail:

1 ½ ounces gin
¼ ounce sweet vermouth
¼ ounce dry vermouth
¾ ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
2 dashes Angostura® bitters
Orange wheel or twist for garnish
