Carbonated beverages have been around since the late 18^th century when a English scientist, named Joseph Priestly, first discovered the method of infusing water with carbon dioxide to make carbonated water, according to Wikipedia. He did this by suspending a bowl of distilled water above a beer vat at a local brewery. It didn’t take long before flavorings were combined with the carbonated water giving us what we now know as soda or a soft drink.

Pumpkin Spice Frizz Coffee

Get into the spirit of the fall with this delicious combination of Frizz coffee and Torani Pumpkin Spice syrup.

Ingredients:

1 Bottle of Frizz Coffee

Ice

1 oz. of Torani Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Cream to taste

Directions: Fill a 16 oz. cup with ice, add Frizz Coffee, Torani Pumpkin Spice Syrup, cream to taste, then stir and enjoy!

Lime in the Coconut Diet Cola

Try this delicious concoction for a delightful caffeinated energy boost in the middle of the day.

Ingredients:

2 tbsp. (1 oz.) Torani Sugar Free Coconut Syrup

Ice

Juice from half a lime

1 can of diet cola

Splash of half and half (optional)

Directions: Combine first 4 ingredients in a glass. Stir gently. Add a splash of half and half on top. Serve and enjoy! Recipe adapted by “Our Best Bites”

Sparkling Exotic Citrus Green Tea

Have a house full of guests coming over for the holidays? Try this Monin refreshing carbonated, caffeinated punch to liven up the party!

Ingredients:

Ice

¼ oz. fresh lemon juice or 1 wedge

¼ oz. fresh lime juice or 1 wedge

1 oz. Monin Exotic Citrus Syrup

6 oz. fresh brewed green tea

Top with sparkling water

Garnish: Lemon, Lime

Directions:

1.Fill a 16 oz. serving glass with ice.

2. Add lemon and lime juice, Monin Exotic Citrus Syrup, and fresh brewed green tea and stir.

3. Top with a splash of sparkling water and stir again.

4. Garnish and enjoy

The Taylor (Maple Lattes)

Wind down after a long day of work with this comforting maple flavored cocktail with a little extra zing of Frizz to spice things up!

Ingredients:

4 oz. cold Frizz Coffee

1 oz. Kahlua

2 oz. vodka

½ oz. Torani Maple Syrup

Splash of half and half

Directions: Pour all ingredients over ice, and stir well – adding the half and half at the end.
